What’s been happening:

After living and working in Connecticut for over 30 years, I moved to Florida to care for my mother who was very ill. After her death in 2003, I went back to Connecticut to take care of my fiance who became ill. He later died in 2004. I decided to stay in Florida and live in Sarasota, which is a little paradise. However, after working here as a customer service representative and administrative support person, I was laid off. I really need to work but with the economy as it is, jobs are not available to persons such as myself. Recently I have had major back surgery; therefore, while looking for employment I am recuperating. I would love to hear from classmates or other Penn State grads. By the way, I am vice president on the board of the Gulf Coast Chapter of Penn State here in Florida. I wish you all good health and happiness.
